About me
I was born and raised in California, moved to New York to build products in fintech, and I’m now back in LA to be closer to family and friends.
I studied computer science at UC Santa Barbara and graduated with honors from the College of Engineering. I realized early on that what I loved most wasn’t the coding. It was the problem solving. Breaking a complex problem down to its core gives me the same satisfaction I imagine others get from a good puzzle.
I’ve also always been energized by people: talking with clients, helping sales tell the story, and understanding how the business works end to end. Product management brought those two interests together, so I stepped into it straight out of college.
I began my career in cybersecurity, working on cloud access security, then moved to New York to work in fintech. I spent most of that time at Alloy, where I joined at Series A as employee 40 and the second product hire, and grew with the company through hypergrowth to a 300-person Series C.
I’ve since worked at startups at every stage, from seed to Series D, and I’ve owned everything I’ve built from start to finish: shaping the idea, shipping it, driving adoption, and refining it based on what customers told us. That work has ranged from designing machine learning models to crafting the customer-facing experience. Today, I advise startups.
When I’m not working, I’m probably outside: skiing (Ikon Pass loyalist), hiking, playing tennis, or surfing. I go to as many concerts as I can, and I love to travel and explore new countries. And an afternoon spent playing cards outside, listening to music, is an afternoon well spent.
